The short version
This site has no account system, no cart and no checkout. There is nothing here to register for and nothing to pay. That removes most of what a privacy policy usually has to cover.
What we do not see
Because your order is placed on the retail partner site, we never receive your name, your delivery address, your card details, your order number or your order history. If you want a copy of that data or want it deleted, the request goes to the retailer, not to us.
What we collect
- Standard server logs from the hosting provider: IP address, browser string, the page requested and the time. These are used to spot faults and abuse.
- Aggregate traffic counts, so we know which categories and journal pieces get read.
- Whatever you choose to put in an email if you write to us.
Why we hold it
Three reasons and no more: keeping the site running, understanding which pages are worth writing more of, and answering the mail you send us. We do not build profiles and we do not sell data.
Third parties
Following a product link takes you to the retail partner, where their own privacy policy applies from the moment the page loads. Fonts and scripts on this site are served from our own domain, so no font provider sees your visit.
Your rights
If you are in a region with data protection law, you can ask what we hold about you, ask for a copy and ask us to erase it. Mail us and we will answer within a month. For anything tied to an order, the retailer holds the record.
Changes
If this policy changes we update the text on this page. There is no mailing list here to notify.
