Nothing. The commission comes out of the retailer margin, not out of your total. The price at checkout is the same whether you arrived from this site, from a search result or by typing the address yourself.
How it affects what we write
Commission rates vary by product category, and we could in theory push you toward the categories that pay better. We do not order the catalogue that way. Products are sorted by how many ratings they have collected, which is a measure of how much wear a piece has behind it, and the descriptions say when something has a drawback.
What we do not do
- We do not invent customer reviews or quote reviews we have not seen
- We do not hide a fault to protect a commission
- We do not accept payment from a maker to move an item up a page
- We do not claim to have worn every piece in the catalogue
Where the number comes from
The rating and the rating count on a product page are read from the retailer listing when the page is built. They are the retailer numbers, not ours, and they move after we publish.
